Hooded Salvinia (Salvinia cucullata) – Architectural Floating Fern with Moody Purple Hues

Add architectural depth and stunning color contrast to your tank's surface.

You will receive a minimum of 30 leaves with this plant.

About This Plant: Salvinia cucullata is a true geometric masterpiece. Instead of growing flat, its leaves roll tightly upward into delicate, cup-like hoods. Under high-quality lighting, the outer rims of these "cups" blush with striking, moody indigo and purplish-indigo edges.

Architectural Wonder: The unique cup shape naturally traps water droplets, making them look like sparkling liquid diamonds under your aquarium light.

Fish & Shrimp Sanctuary: Fish and shrimp love hanging out in its dense, feathery root systems.

Care Level: Easy

Light Requirements: Medium to High (stronger light brings out those gorgeous dark purple/blue edges).

Water Flow: Low surface agitation.

Add a portion to any fish box for little to no extra shipping.
