Description

The hobby called it Inka for years before science gave it a name. Jungle streams in northwest Peru, and it still looks like it was drawn by hand, with black bars and a red ring around the tail.

Comes out to greet you and stays out. The fish that makes the tank feel alive.

Care: Dwarf cichlid, cave spawner. Soft, acidic water, pH 5.5 to 7, TDS 50 to 150, 70 to 78°F. Adult size about 3 inches. A 15 to 20 gallon tank with caves and leaf litter. Eats flake, baby brine shrimp, frozen bloodworms, adult brine and cyclops.

Weather hold: For the safety of live fish, we delay shipping during extreme heat or cold at the origin, along the transit route, or at your destination.
