You are bidding on a PROVEN, active breeding pair of Chocolate Bristlenose Plecos (Ancistrus cirrhosus).

This is a true, established male/female pair from my home fish room. They are highly productive and have successfully had healthy spawns of beautiful fry for me. The male has an impressive, healthy set of bristles, and the female is plump and ready to spawn again in the right setup.

If you are looking to fast-track your pleco breeding project or add a reliable source of fry to your fish room, this pair is ready to go!

To help ensure a seamless transition to your aquarium, here are the exact conditions this pair is currently thriving in:

Age/Size: Male is approximately [3-3.5 inches], Female is approximately [3.5 inches].
Diet: Heavily fed on high-quality sinking algae wafers, protein, and fresh blanched zucchini/cucumber. They always have access to natural driftwood in their tank, which is essential for their digestion.
Water Parameters:
- Temperature: 74°F – 78°F
- pH: 7.0 – 7.4
Breeding Setup: They actively spawn in standard ceramic or terra cotta pleco caves with a tight fit.
