These bottom-dwelling catfish will get to about 7" and spend most of their time sifting through sand with their eyes poking out. They are algae-grazers and scavengers, and do best with a varied diet (biofilm, pellets, meaty foods, and small invertebrates work well).
Water parameters: 78-80F temp, 6.5-7.5 pH, and clear, high-flow water with a low buildup of nitrates/organic waste preferred.
