Prestige Aquatics is a comprehensive aquatic services company based in Paducah, Kentucky, USA. We are dedicated to becoming a leading provider in the aquarium industry, specializing in premium livestock supply and professional aquarium services.
As lifelong enthusiasts of the fishkeeping hobby—much like many of our customers—we are deeply passionate about this pursuit. Fishkeeping is not merely a business for us; it is a lifelong passion that drives everything we do.
Our mission is to deliver high-quality, healthy, premium-grade fish directly to retail fish stores and individual home aquarium hobbyists. We also provide the essential systems, expertise, and support needed to ensure long-term success and thriving aquatic environments for our clients.
At Prestige Aquatics, we specialize in rare and premium freshwater aquarium fish, including rainbowfish, plecos, corydoras, rare wild livebearers, show-quality fancy guppies, angelfish, dwarf South and Central American cichlids, and other select species.
Unlike many retailers that source fish directly from wholesalers for immediate resale, Prestige Aquatics maintains rigorous control over the health, quality, and provenance of our livestock. Nearly all of the fish we offer are bred and raised in-house at our dedicated facility in Paducah, Kentucky.
Shipping
At Prestige Aquatics, our standard shipping rate to anywhere in the continental United States is $65, for customers located in Kentucky and select nearby metropolitan areas (Evansville, Nashville, St. Louis, and Cincinnati), we offer a reduced shipping rate of $45. For plants/dry goods only shipping we charge a flat $20 shipping rate, you can expect these kinds of orders to arrive in 3-5 business days.
Any order is subject to additional shipping fees due to excessive distance or weather. We require this shipping on all livestock purchases. All fish typically ship the Monday following your order placement. We take orders until 5PM CST every Sunday for shipment on Monday (sometimes a late order will still make the cut!).
If the temperature in your area is too hot or too cold during the primary shipping window, we will reach out to try to reschedule shipping. This is because we want your fish to arrive to you healthy and well!
DOA (Dead On Arrival) Policy
Fish dead on arrival is an extremely unfortunate part of the online fish industry. However don't let this deter you from buying fish online! The quality and the health of the fish are usually much better than they would be from a local fish supplier. We also take special precautions to make sure your fish arrive safely! We provide a DOA policy to encourage you to feel protected when buying fish from us. The policy is as follows:
DOA Policy: If you encounter any fish/shrimp dead on arrival, please email us within 1 hour of the package being delivered according to the tracking information. Please attach photos or video of the dead fish/shrimp in the email and provide a brief explanation. A store credit will be awarded but shipping will not be covered for replacement livestock. In some cases and at our discretion, we may offer to refund the cost of the animal.
