One generous measuring cup of Java Moss, grown in a medium light low tech aquarium. I keep it in guppy tanks as it provides hiding places for fry and harbors a microscopic source of food.   I like snails and scuds- I believe they are an indispensable part of a healthy, thriving tank biome. Although I rinse off plants before shipping, you are almost guaranteed to get snails or eggs (or possibly a scud) from my plants. I recommend a Clorox or alum dip if you don’t want hitchhikers.
