Heterandria elegans, Auction for 7 young juvs about a half inch. A very pretty Tiny micro-livebearer. Adult males are about .5 to.75 inch and females at .75 to under an inch. A little rare in the hobby, females only drop a few (1-2) fry at a time. Fish are tiger striped with a gold spot in the middle of their body. Great for a Nano Tank, very peaceful and good with fry. Xiphophorus kallmani, the Catemaco Sword. A newly described swordtail in 2003. My fish originated from the Rusty Wessel collection. This is a large swordtail and has also been called the brassy sword, a long sword swordtail, the sword being at least a body length.
