Ghost Betta by Ghost Market Bettas
Premium Grade, US Bred from Thailand stock Betta Fish. (B. splendens)
The photo is of the actual fish you will receive. We don't use stock photos to "catfish" you.Ghost Bettas have the Koi/Marble gene.Bettas with the koi gene change colors because they carry the active marble gene, which contains a "jumping gene" that shifts cell pigmentation over time. Enjoy how your betta changes over the months/years!
Ghost Betta coloration is the result of many months of careful selective breeding by yours truly. Many have incandescent coloration and all carry that luminous trait for the future generations. All my fish are raised in humane, clean, well planted, large tanks. Not tiny jars!
Lighting
Our pictures and video are taken under white LED and black light/ night light lighting.
This brings out the colors of each betta to the maximum.
There will be differences in color if the betta is placed under natural lighting.
Please ask me if you'd like to see the fish your interested in under natural lighting.
SHIPPING
1. Shipping I use: UPS 2nd Day Air
2. Fish will be shipped in a breather bag (Lets in O2, releases CO2) in a insulated cardboard box with heat pack and stuffing.
Orders are shipped on every Tuesday AM.
For example, if you order on a Friday, your fishy friend will be shipped to you the very next Tuesday morning. If you order on a Tuesday evening, your fishy friend will be shipped out the next Tuesday in the AM.
Please note **We may opt to delay shipping in cases of extreme weather conditions or severe expected delays.
We try our best to make sure that our bettas arrive safe and healthy.
Many bettas will arrive discolored and this is completely normal.
This is caused by stress from transit and color will return on average in 48 hours.
There are outliers that will need up to a week to fully recover but most fall within the 48 hours.**
DEAD ON ARRIVAL POLICY
1. Please send video or picture fish still inside bag for DOA claim, max one hour after delivery ( based on tracking ).
2. We are not responsible for any shipping delays.
3. We are not responsible after fish is released into your tank. We make sure all fish is in healthy condition before ship to you.
