I want my customers to receive a substantial starter culture — not a tiny amount of worms that takes forever to establish.

I personally harvest and prepare each order from my own thriving colonies.

Grindal worms are an excellent live food for aquarium keepers and breeders. Their movement encourages a natural feeding response, and once you establish your own colony, you can continue harvesting fresh live food at home.

FEEDING

My Grindal worms are raised primarily on oats, so they are already accustomed to this food.

They can also be fed small amounts of:

• Fish food flakes

• Fish food pellets

• Dog food

IMPORTANT: Feed only a SMALL amount at a time.

Wait until most of the previous food has been consumed before feeding again.

Do not allow uneaten food to remain long enough to spoil or develop mold. Overfeeding is one of the easiest ways to cause problems in a Grindal worm culture.

CULTURE CARE

Keep the coconut coir moist but NEVER soaking wet.

If the substrate begins drying, add a small amount of dechlorinated water.

Keep the culture at comfortable room temperature and away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.

Once your colony becomes heavily populated, you can transfer some worms and substrate into another container to create a second producing colony and backup culture.

WHEN YOUR CULTURE ARRIVES

Shipping may cause the coconut coir to become compressed or disturbed.

Gently loosen the surface and allow the culture some time to settle.

Please track your shipment and bring the package indoors as soon as possible after delivery, especially during hot or cold weather.
