There are no chemicals, absolutely nothing purchased or storebought or processed on these vessels at all. Pure earthenware pottery from the rainforest. I have been working directly with Indigenous People in the Amazon Basin since 2016, focusing on their traditional art.
These are a one of a kind vessels handmade in the Peruvian Amazon from clay dug from the earth, processed and built at home, and fired in an open, outdoor fire. As a result there are unique marks on each piece. A very special, antiquated look and feel. They are beautiful and elegant in any aquarium space.
