Description

These are three Ticuna earthenware pottery vessels, in three beautiful colors. The color is a result of the clay used or (in the case of the reddest piece), rock mineral color. There are no chemicals, absolutely nothing purchased or storebought or processed on these vessels at all. Pure earthenware pottery from the rainforest. I have been working directly with Indigenous People in the Amazon Basin since 2016, focusing on their traditional art.

These are a one of a kind vessels handmade in the Colombian Amazon from clay dug from the earth, processed and built at home, and fired in an open, outdoor fire. As a result there are unique marks on each piece. A very special, antiquated look and feel. They are beautiful and elegant in any aquarium space.
