Apistogramma agassizii "Double Red" is a popular, selectively bred color morph of the Agassiz's dwarf cichlid, prized for bright red dorsal and tail (caudal) fins. Males: Grow up to 2.5–3 inches; feature fiery red dorsal and tail fins accented with dark edges, contrasted by metallic blue, violet, or yellow body iridescence. Females: Stay smaller at 1.5–2 inches; feature more subdued, yellowish-tan bodies that turn bright yellow when ready to breed.
