We are new to Aquabid but not to tropical fish and plants.
With decades of experience with breeding and raising a wide variety of tropical fish and plants, we are offering these beautiful, docile Red Breast Acaras. These are fantastic, peaceful cichlids and only 2" to 3" in length.
They have bred several times in a 75g community tank but, need their own space to raise their young.
They are at their best in water with mid-70s (f), pH 7.0 - 7.5, Gh and kH around 5. They spawn on flat surfaces so we give them slate and potted amazon swords. We prefer bare bottom tanks and floating water sprite. That combination allows for easy water changes and pristine water conditions.
They eagerly accept any quality pellets, freeze dried or frozen foods.
Payment:
PayPal Direct only. Please provide your name, address, telephone number and email address before any payment info. Once we have your information, we will provide a quote for the entire shipment and, with your approval, invoice you through Paypal the total amount to be paid. Once approved and paid, we will schedule your shipment.
Shipping Schedule & Handling:
Shipments go out strictly on Mondays and Tuesdays to avoid weekend delays.
Please note there is a 1-to-2 week handling window from the time of purchase to ensure fish are safely fasted for 24-48 hours and prepared for pickup and transit.
No Combined Shipping: To safeguard the fish, all orders are packed and processed as single, independent shipments. We do not combine shipping for multiple orders.

Final shipping cost is priced at exact UPS net rates with no markups or hidden handling fees plus $9 for UPS pickup.
Local Pickup: We gladly accommodate local pickups in Santa Rosa, CA to save you the cost of transit. Reach out to us to schedule a pickup window.
Dead on Arrival (DOA) Guarantee: Full DOA protection applies exclusively to our UPS Next Day shipments. Clear photos of the deceased fish inside the sealed, original packaging must be sent within 2 hours of the official carrier delivery timestamp for a credit or refund. Absolutely no DOA coverage or refunds are provided for local pickups.
