Beskrivelse
The winning bidder will receive 3 young pairs + 2 unsexed juveniles of Zoogoneticus tequila 'Rio Teuchitlan." The pictures show mature males from my colony. These fish are a livebearing goodeid from the central Mexican highlands. They do best in cooler water (60degF - 74degF) with temps varying with the seasons. They eagerly take all normal fish foods. Tequilas were once extinct in the wild but were reintroduced into their natural habitat of a small spring and its outflow. Despite the reintroduction they remain highly endangered due to their extremely restricted natural habitat.
Fish will be sent on the Monday following the close of the auction via USPS medium priority box. Shipping is to the US only. Shipping cost is $30 in addition to the price of the fish. Payment must be received within 24hrs of auction close for the fish to be sent. In the rare event of any DOAs, a picture of the fish still in the bag must be sent within 2hrs of box delivery. If less than 6 fish survive, a partial refund will be given for each fish. Shipping cost is non-refundable. Before the aquabid update I had many successful sales of these fish.
