The difference between a large culture and a small culture is the time it would take for you to use the culture.

So if you have some time, you can make many cultures using this one starter culture; however, if you are in need of a culture yesterday, I do not recommend purchasing this listing. There are other sellers offering larger quantities which is ready to feed as soon as you get them.

Here is some info in helping you decide what type of worm is right for you.

Microworms (Panagrellus redivivus)

Size: Largest (approx. 2-3mm)

Buoyancy: Sinks fastest

Reproduction: prolific

Best for: baby guppies

Walter Worms (Panagrellus silusioides)

Medium (approx. half the size of Microworms)

Buoyancy: Floats longer than microworms; stays alive for +24 hrs in water

Reproduction: fast

Best for: baby bettas, tetras, danios

Banana Worms (Panagrellus nepenthicol)

Smallest (slightly smaller than Walter worms)

Buoyancy: Floats longest; stays alive for +24 hrs in water

Reproduction: fastest

Best for: baby bettas, tetras, danios, baby axolotls, newts, aquarium shrimps
