You will receive one sandwich bag of the floating plants. They may be green when you get them. Red root floaters range from green to purple to red depending on light and nitrates. They do well at using up excess nutrients in the tank. My aquariums do contain snails so there may be snails or eggs attached. I view snails as beneficial but I understand many do not.
