Poecilia mexicana La Lluvia MX Melanistic form, The Atlantic molly or Short fin molly. I got the original wild fish from the collector, a university prof, doing research in that area. I got the wild fish in July 2022 from him. Both Males and females show melanistic spotting. I took 2 of these mollies to the ALA 2024 convention to show, The female took 1st Place “Mollies Natural Specie Class” and the male tool 3rd place in “Mollies Natural Specie Class”. A very pretty molly blue blotched body with black spotting and some mottled orange spotting and or orange bared tail. A warm water molly that also likes hard water and up to 80 degrees. Auction is for seven juvs about an inch Plus in size. Easily kept, fed and bred fish, males can get to 4 inches females around 4.5 inches.

Heterandria elegans, Auction for 8 young juvs about a half inch. A very pretty Tiny micro-livebearer. Adult males are about .5 to.75 inch and females at under an inch. A little rare in the hobby, females only drop a few (1-2) fry at a time. Fish are tiger striped with a gold spot in the middle of their body. Xiphophorus
montezumae, Ojo Caliente. Auction for 7 Juvs about 3+ months old and
3/4s of an inch long. Parents came from XGSC. Specimens of this strain were
collected in 1983 from the Rio Ojo Caliente, San Luis Potosi, Mexico, by Drs.
Kallman and Morizot. A very pretty form of Montezuma, Bright Baby blue dorsal
and blue sword with black edging, body blue sheen and Tiger striped and has a
yellow tail. Seems to be an easy keeper.
