Often overlooked, these banded (or sometimes referred to as striped) pygmy sunfish are honestly my favorite. They seem to be more bold, even their wild caught parents stay out in the open and don't hide when I approach their tank. I've even seen the adults attempt to eat pellets, so they seem to have a more adventurous pallet.
