Characteristics. This is a true nano species and is much smaller than most endlers species. Please do not let the small size drop your guard, these are adept jumpers. Take caution when opening the bag and releasing. The temperature can range from 69° to 79° The best lighting is partial natural light or partial sunlight. This is another way to help prevent random jumping otherwise they will use surfaces to ricochet off of out of your aquarium. Lids on, lights dim, lower the water level and be careful placing items into your aquarium and out of it. I have had to communicate this frequently in the past. Be ready for jumps.
The males are polymorphic and have black dorsals with asymmetrical or symmetrical black dots along the body. They exhibit a florescent green color. The tail most of the time will be clear. Only the males have color. Keep the water level in your aquarium at least 6 inches lower than the rim. Please keep this as a species only inhabitant.
