These are well started juveniles that are active, feeding well, and established. Kribensis are colorful, hardy West African dwarf cichlids known for their personality, relatively manageable size, and interesting breeding behavior.

The fish offered are well started juveniles rather than tiny fry. At this stage they are actively feeding, growing well, and beginning to develop the body shape and coloration associated with mature Kribensis.
Juveniles may be kept together while young, but territorial behavior can increase as they mature and begin establishing territories or forming pairs.
Kribensis do well in planted aquariums with plenty of structure and hiding places. Caves, driftwood, rocks, terracotta pots, and dense plants can help create territories and reduce aggression.
A larger aquarium is recommended for a group of four as they mature.
Kribensis are omnivores and readily accept a varied diet including:
• Quality pellets or flakes
• Brine shrimp
• Daphnia
• Bloodworms
• Other appropriately sized live or frozen foods
A varied diet supports healthy growth, coloration, and overall condition.
Kribensis are cave spawning cichlids known for strong parental care. As these juveniles mature, males and females may naturally pair within the group.
Because these fish are being sold as unsexed juveniles, sex ratio and future pairing are not guaranteed.

LOMWILD now ships through USPS, UPS, and FedEx. The carrier used may vary depending on your location and which service provides the safest and most efficient delivery.

Economy Shipping is the most affordable option, but because delivery times can vary significantly, live animals shipped using this service are not covered by the LOMWILD Live Arrival Guarantee.
Standard Shipping: $20.99
Estimated transit time: 2 to 3 business days
The carrier and service providing the best estimated transit time to your destination will be selected.
Express Shipping: $55.00
Estimated transit time: 1 to 2 business days
Express Shipping is recommended for customers who want the shortest possible transit time, especially during periods of extreme temperatures.
Overnight shipping may also be available upon request. Contact me before ordering with your shipping information for a quote.
Shipping Schedule
Live animal shipments are normally sent on Mondays and Tuesdays to reduce the risk of weekend delays.
Shipping dates may be adjusted because of holidays, severe weather, extreme temperatures, carrier delays, or other conditions that could place livestock at risk.
Live Arrival Guarantee
Economy Shipping does not include a Live Arrival Guarantee.
When a shipment qualifies for the Live Arrival Guarantee, any Dead-on Arrival claim must be reported within 2 hours of the carrier's recorded delivery time.
Clear photos or videos showing the animal inside the unopened shipping bag are required.
Approved claims cover the purchase price of the affected livestock only. Original shipping charges, packaging fees, and shipping upgrades are nonrefundable.
Weather and Package Holds
During extreme heat or cold, I may recommend or require that a shipment be held at an appropriate carrier pickup location when available.
Shipping may also be postponed when temperatures or weather conditions create an unnecessary risk to livestock.
Packaging
Live shipments are carefully packed using appropriate insulated packaging. Heat packs or cold packs are included when conditions require them.
Tracking information is provided once your shipment has been prepared for carrier pickup.
Free Shipping and Promotional Shipping
Some listings or promotions may include free or discounted shipping. If a refund is required on an order that includes free shipping, the actual shipping and packaging costs may be deducted from the refund when applicable.
Auction and Marketplace Orders
Shipping prices and services offered through eBay, Whatnot, auction websites, or other marketplaces may differ from those available directly through LOMWILD.com because of individual marketplace shipping requirements.

LOMWILD is a small, hands-on operation. Livestock is either raised and cared for here or responsibly sourced and properly acclimated before being offered.
Every animal is evaluated before shipping and packed with care. Because these are living organisms, natural differences in size, color, markings, and behavior should be expected.
This shipping policy serves as a general guideline and may be updated as carrier pricing, services, weather conditions, and shipping requirements change. I reserve the right to select or modify the carrier or shipping method when necessary to protect the health and safety of livestock.
