*I'm select breeding the Candle Tails to increase the color in the females. (An example of this is shown in the last photo). The green female in the last photo is NOT from the Candle Tail strain. I breed my Candle Tails for the rainbow on the body. Pic # 3 is an example of the Candle Tails that I've bred in the past.

* I keep two separate populations of Candle Tails. The adult pair will come from population 1 and the young that I will include will be from population 2. I breed my gray females to blonde in order to produce offspring with the most vivid colors. All of the females will not develop metallic color on their bodies. Your female will be gray bodied. She will come pre hit to the blonde bodied candle tail in the second picture. I ship young sexed pairs because they are able to withstand the environmental changes that occur during shipping and acclimation, from my tank to yours.
DOA Policy: If you have a DOA (dead on arrival), you must contact me within two hours of arrival, with very clear photos, to be considered for a DOA replacement pair. The fish must still be in their original shipping bag, in the photos that you submit. The extras that I include are a gift and they are not eligible for the DOA replacement or refund. Buyer pays shipping charges if a replacement pair is sent out.
IN THE UNLIKELY EVENT THAT YOU HAVE A DOA: I reserve the right to refund you (minus the shipping charges) if replacement pair is unavailable. I consider myself a true hobbyist and will do everything humanly possible to make this a positive transaction for both of us:)
I ship every day of the year and use heat packs and cold packs when necessary. The weather forecast is checked thoroughly from my state to yours before your order is shipped out.
In extreme weather conditions, I reserve the right to request that the buyer do a "Hold for Pick Up" at your local post office, if I feel that it is best for the fish's arrival, and to ensure that your fish have a smooth acclimation.
Your new guppies will come with a small bag of Carib Sea sand, a few pieces of crushed coral, a small sample of fish food and an Indian Almond Leaf to put into your tank at the time of acclamation. This releases tannin in the water and it helps the fish not come down with illness when they are stressed from traveling and acclamation. (I keep Carib Sea sand and crushed coral in my tanks to keep the water parameters ideal for guppies.) I will also include a teaspoon of API aquarium salt to put in your tank at the time of acclimation. This helps the guppies transition to your tank safely. Once they are in your tank, they are your responsibility so be sure to contact me if you have any questions prior to acclimating your new guppies.
