Description

Often overlooked, these banded (or sometimes referred to as striped) pygmy sunfish are honestly my favorite. They seem to be more bold, even their wild caught parents stay out in the open and don't hide when I approach their tank. I've even seen the adults attempt to eat pellets, so they seem to have a more adventurous pallet. Neither the parents nor the F1 offspring are trained to eat pellet food, but I see the potential.

Though they are not as colorful as others pygmy sunfish species, their outgoing personality makes them my favorite.

This is a group of 4 F1 offspring, and although they are unsexed, I'll do my best to try and get a mix of male and female, I just won't be able to guarantee a certain ratio.
