Full Grindal worm cultures in a 650ml ventilated food-grade container. Ideal for setting up several starter colonies.
I have been producing home grown grindal worm cultures for over 10 years.
I keep the worms at around 22c all year. The substrate can be coir, potting soil, peat, organic top soil or any mixture of these. The worms are fed on a diet of high protein cat pellets, which are soaked for a few minutes prior to placing then in the containers. Grindal worms are prolific breeders under the correct conditions.
I raise the grindal worm cultures in braplast 1.3lt ventilated boxes . However, for transport, the full culture is transferred to a 650ml ventilated food grade container.
Grindal worms grow to a maximum of 1cm. They are a highly nutritious live, boasting around 70% protein, 15% fat, 10% carbohydrates, and 5% minerals by dry mass, making them excellent for growth, especially for fry, small fish and smaller amphibians.
Grindal worm are an excellent food for conditioning breeding fish.

- Worms are sent in 650ml food-grade containers, in a cardboard box, with insulating packaging. Sent via royal mail 24 hour service. Orders received before 12 midday are normally sent the same day. Post Monday to Friday only for Tuesday to Saturday delivery (excludes bank holidays).
