This sale includes 10 thick pieces of 6” Cholla with a diameter of roughly of 1 1/4” and up. I have Cholla wood in all of my shrimp tanks and I do believe it is a must.

Cholla wood provides a place for bio film to grow which is the number one food for shrimp.

The wood provides a natural hide out for recently molted shrimp and berried females. It will gradually lower ph and soften water as well. These are nice thick pieces and should last quite a long time in your tank. You can even use them for a place to attach moss and plants like Anubias and Buce.
