Asian Water Grass (Hygroryza aristata) is a fast growing intermediate floating aquarium plant. This grass species creeps qnd spreads across the surface of the aquarium, preferring high lighting and humidity. This floating plant seems to prefer glass top aquarium where the humidity is high. Green fibrous roots grow down a few inches, providing cover for shrimp and smaller fish.
