This Gast regenerative airt pump was used only about 2 weeks until I got a new pump replacement .It is 1/3 H.P. was a little to big for the amout of tanks that I had pnly 40 tanks at the time my every day pump was the same as this one but it was 1/8 H.P whitch was plenty of air for my fish room and lasted 30 years I now have the same 1/8 H.P. and another pump for spare This pump brand new is over $500. I have been keeping fish for 55 years and by far Gast air pumps are the best as far as long time use and are the quietest and most reliable air blowers that I have used.
