You are bidding on 8 juvenile Melanotaenia boesemani from Kali Fitri, a new collection location offered the first time in the USA! I received my breeder fish from Hans Evers from Germany who collected the fish at the Ayamaru plateau from the Vogelkop Peninsula in West Papua in February 2020. Hans refers to the fish as the black throated harlequin rainbow fish and reports that this location stays at 8cm (slightly larger than 3 inches). 8 juvenile Melanotaenia etnaensis, super rare
For sale are 8 juvenile Melanotaenia etnaensis collected at Etna Bay in Australia by Heiko Bleher many years ago. This fish is very rare in the hobby and grows about 4” in length. The underside of the body exhibits a spectacular array of colors I have not seen in any other rainbowfish species. I received eggs of this species from Gary Lange in January 2021.
