For sale is 1 wild caught male of Melanotaenia sp. from the Bomberai Peninsula area that was collected by Rafik Firdaus and his hunters. The photos shows one of the breeder males. This is a new and undescribed species! I only have surplus males available at the moment. For sale are 6 juvenile (about 0.75 to 1 inches in size) Melanotaenia sp. from Bomberai area Peninsula. These fish were collected by Rafik Firdaus’ hunters in Nov 2025. They live in tea-colored freshwater at a water temperature of 24°c - 26°c and pH 6,7. My wild fish have adapted easily to my tap water from the wild.
