For sale are 8 juvenile Melanotaenia trifasciata (Banded Rainbowfish) from Cato River that are tank bred/raised by me and are at the age of 5-6 months and about 1” in size. Look at the length of the first dorsal fin, it extends well into the second dorsal fin, the longest I have seen in a Melanotaenia species! The fish for sale are not sexable at this age and size. If you want to increase your chances of getting both genders, additional fish are available. I received my breeder fish from Johannes Graf who imported them from Dave Wilson (Aquagreen) in 2005. The photo shows a breeder pair. Additional fish are available for the winning bidder.

You are bidding on 8 juvenile Melanotaenia ajamaruensis fish that are tank bred/raised by me and are at the age of 6-7 months and about 1.5” in size. They look like M. boesemani but are a separate species. 8 young adult Rhadinocentrus ornatus from Carland Creek
