Xiphophorus montezumae, the Capuchin, (the Blue/Green strain), location, Mine were originally collected by John Mangan ALA menber and Dominic Isla, March of 2001 in Capuchin, Mexico. This is a lovely large form of monty quite hearty and easily kept. This is the largest form of monty and gets the longest tail. The auction is for seven 1 to 3/4 inch juveniles. They are a quite pretty fish with a blue-green colored body and a very-very long yellow sword which is thickly edged in black. Dominate males get "Red" (like photo) when exposed to sunlight.
