These get BRIGHT red/orange in breeding colors (both male and female)
These can be very territorial IF they do begin to breed, best kept only with other cichlids or potentially large plecos in my experience.
These can be a great beginner species for hobbyists interested in breeding.
Sex not guaranteed, I believe 3 male 2 female
I believe there are 2 competing Dominant Males and 1 sub dominant Male (potentially Female), the other 2 I believe to be female
