Description

Duckweed You are bidding on enough clean Duckweed to fill a 10 gallon tank. These bright green plants are free of snails and easy to grow, requiring no special care. This healthy Duckweed has been saving my fry from their piggy parents and will also hinder fish from jumping out of the tank. I have also noticed a great reduction of algae in my tanks since I started using these vibrant plants. Environmental scientists are using duckweeds to remove unwanted substances from water. Aquaculturalists find them an inexpensive feed source for fish farming. Whenever I find the Duckweed is growing too thickly, I scoop out the excess and put them in the snail tanks, for an excellent source of vegetative food. You will be provided with the Priority mail tracking number. Even though this Duckweed will be shipped in an insulated container, please do not leave the plants out in the heat or cold. Shipping may be delayed if either shipping or receiving zip codes are having temperatures below 35� or above 85�. A 72-hour heat pack can be added for an additional $2.00, upon request.
