12+3 Ruby-Red Ramshorn Snails, Free Ship You are bidding on 12 + 3 or more beautiful Ruby-Red Ramshorn Snails, pea size or larger. Any smaller than pea size are freebies, old snails will never be shipped. The +3 or more Ramshorn snails are to cover any minor shipping losses. In your tank, these awesome snails will appear as though ruby-red jewels are scattered around for your eyes to enjoy. Ruby-Red snails are a deeper red than regular red snails; they have a red foot and a red shell, as opposed to regular red snails having amber shells. The color of these snails never change with different lighting, they are always Ruby-Red, from birth to old age. The picture is of the family of snails your Ramshorns will come from. The picture was taken in my yard, under a tree, using natural light. The hazy areas in the picture are from the sky reflecting on the water surface. The only editing done was to crop-off the bowl rim, sized to fit here on the auction and my sig was added. For your info; these snails were raised at home by me and have not been with any fish (no parasites). I have been turkey basting all old food and waste out of their tanks every day to keep them as clean as possible. They have been eating fresh, parboiled organic veggies; Romaine lettuce, carrots, cucumber, green beans, peas, sweet potato and Dandelion leaves. These snails have also been receiving frequent helpings of; green algae, Spirulina algae, Omega One veggie rounds, veggie sticks with calcium, Hikari Crab Cuisine, Brine Shrimp sticks and Earthworm sticks. You do not have to worry about quarantine, these snails are ready to go into your tank as a highly decorative algae eating clean-up crew. These snails will NOT harm healthy plants, but will eat algae from them and any dead, mushy parts. Due to the approaching cold front and the Thanksgiving holiday, all shipping will be delayed until Saturday November 28. This will also be my last shipping day until the average night time lows in my area rise above 40� Fahrenheit. You will be provided with the Priority mail tracking number. Even though these snails will be shipped in breather bags, and an insulated container, please do not leave the snails out in the heat or cold. Shipping may be delayed if either shipping or receiving zip codes are having temperatures below 40� or above 85�. Upon request; a 72-hour heat pack can be added for an additional $2.00, or a cold gel pack for an additional $1.00. I take great pride in the packing and handling of livestock I have so carefully raised. Live arrival of the base auction count is always guaranteed; please contact me within 2 hours of first delivery attempt if there are any problems. Additional Ruby Ramshorn Snails may be added to the auction upon request, for 90� each. I would be happy to combine shipping for multiple auctions.
