12+3 Blue Ramshorn Snails, Free Ship You are bidding on 12 + 3 or more beautiful Blue Ramshorn Snails, abount � inch size. Any smaller than pea size are freebies, old snails will never be shipped. The +3 or more Ramshorn snails are to cover any minor shipping losses. These awesome decorative tank cleaners are a pure strain of the bluest of the blues! In your tank, they will appear as though blueberries are scattered around for your eyes to enjoy. These special snails have shells that change color tones as their age progresses. Their foot remains a deep wine or burgundy throughout their lives. Up to � inch, or so, their shells are very dark, almost deep purple. From � inch to � inch, or so, they resemble blueberries. From � inch to young adult, they are a steel blue with lighter streaks and this is the size you will receive for the base auction (12). The lighter streaks get closer together as they mature, so that when they reach maturity, they are a powder or frosted blue. The picture is of the family of snails your Ramshorns will come from. I included all sizes in the picture, so that you may get an idea of how their shells change color tones as they grow and mature. The only editing done was to crop-off the bowl rim, sized to fit here on the auction and my sig was added. For your info; these snails were raised at home by me and have not been with any fish (no parasites). I have been turkey basting all old food and waste out of their tank every day to keep them as clean as possible. They have been eating fresh, parboiled organic veggies; Romaine lettuce, carrots, cucumber, green beans, peas, sweet potato and Dandelion leaves. These snails have also been receiving frequent helpings of; green algae, Spirulina algae, Omega One veggie rounds, veggie sticks with calcium, Hikari Crab Crusine, Brine Shrimp sticks and Earthworm sticks. You do not have to worry about quarantine, these snails are ready to go into your tank as a highly decorative algae eating clean-up crew. These snails will NOT harm healthy plants, but will eat algae from them and any dead, mushy parts. You will be provided with the Priority mail tracking number. Even though these snails will be shipped in breather bags, and an insulated container, please do not leave the snails out in the heat or cold. Shipping may be delayed if either shipping or receiving zip codes are having temperatures below 35� or above 90�. Upon request; a 72-hour heat pack can be added for an additional $2.00, or a cold gel pack for an additional $1.00. I take great pride in the packing and handling of livestock I have so carefully raised.
