12+3 Pearl Pink Ramshorn Snails, Free Ship You are bidding on 12 + 3 or more beautiful Pink Ramshorn Snails, pea size or larger. Any smaller than pea size are freebies, old snails will never be shipped. The +3 or more Ramshorn snails are to cover any minor shipping losses. The picture is of the family of snails your Ramshorns will come from. These unique snails start out a rosy pink or mauve color. As they grow, they develop lighter bands of pearl, frosted, or pale pink. The lighter bands of pinks you see in their shells in the picture are a natural process that occurs until the snails mature as a solid lighter, pearl pink. Their foot remains a red raspberry color throughout their lives. The snails you will receive are young adults, at or nearly at the solid frosted/pearl stage and will be able to reproduce immediately. For your info; these snails were raised at home by me and have not been with any fish (no parasites). I have been turkey basting all old food and waste out of their tanks every day to keep them as clean as possible. They have been eating fresh, parboiled organic veggies; Romaine lettuce, carrots, cucumber, green beans, peas, sweet potato and Dandelion leaves. These snails have also been receiving frequent helpings of; green algae, Spirulina algae, Omega One veggie rounds, veggie sticks with calcium, Hikari Crab Crusine, Brine Shrimp sticks and Earthworm sticks. You do not have to worry about quarantine, these snails are ready to go into your tank as a highly decorative algae eating clean-up crew. These snails will NOT harm healthy plants, but will eat algae from them and any dead, mushy parts. You will be provided with the Priority mail tracking number. Even though these snails will be shipped in breather bags, and an insulated container, please do not leave the snails out in the heat or cold. Shipping may be delayed if either shipping or receiving zip codes are having temperatures below 35� or above 90�. Upon request; a 72-hour heat pack can be added for an additional $2.00, or a cold gel pack for an additional $1.00. I take great pride in the packing and handling of livestock I have so carefully raised. Live arrival of the base auction count (12) is always guaranteed; please contact me within 2 hours of first delivery attempt if there are any problems.
