This auction is for 6 + 2 (free) Tanichthys albonubes Long-Fin White Cloud Mountain Minnows. They are 1.5 to 2.5 inches in length and about 6 months old. These are NOT tiny juveniles, they are young adult breeders which are rarely seen for sale. Although they are ready to breed, their long fins will take a few more months to fill-in. The males have more showy fins and the females have fuller bellies when mature. They are easy to breed egg scatterers, just provide soft plants at the substrate for them to scatter their eggs into. Provide floating plants for the newly hatched fry to hide, otherwise they become snacks for the parents. I'm sorry my camera washes-out their jewel-red fin colors, their colors truly are much richer in person. My photo shows some of the group that your auction comes from. These minnows were tank raised in my home by me and will eat a variety of small foods from brine shrimp to crushed flakes to bug bites. Small food in small amounts means low bioload.
You may order 3 + 1 additional White Clouds. The price will be half of the winning auction bid added to the auction, with no added shipping charges. You will be provided with the package tracking number. Please make sure someone will be home to receive this nice group, and please do not leave the shipment out in the heat or cold. Shipping will be delayed if either sending or receiving zip codes are having temperatures below 40� or above 90�.
