Betta and Koi fancier

Hello ~!

I'm a Koi and Betta fancier. I've successfully bred both betta and Koi; the koi by accident. I had three koi , a long fin goldfish and a shubunkin in a 55gal. The tank was outside and I cleaned it one day (the algae was horrible) and pulled out 12 fish instead of 5.

Right now, I'm building up stock for breeding. I'm going to be breeding mainly Halfmoons, Wildtypes, and I'm going to try my hand at HMPlakats. Plakats just seem super more aggressive than the others.

For importing betta the ONLY transhipper I deal with is Linda Olson. She is the only transhipper that will accommodate my hectic schedule with work, school, and life. The woman is a saint! For domestic, please let me know when you ship so I can look for the package. No weatherman in Pittsburgh can accurately tell the weather. In early March, the weatherman predicted 4 days of spring-summer like weather. Four days of mid to upper 50's--one of which reached 66! Day my package arrived it was predicted to be 47; the weather was 25 with windchill. Other than the weather, there are a lot of hooligan kids that run around after school hours and on weekends. I think they're scared of my dog, but they have taken stuff from other houses on the street and returned them eventually.

My paypal is lozisnotcrying@yahoo.com. If I have won an auction and you haven't heard from me, I'm probably waiting for Friday; I usually pay all auctions between Fridays and Sundays. I only leave feedback after I receive what I've purchased. It's rare that I leave negative or neutral feedback.

This will probably be changed again in the next few months. I plan to start breeding in June when I'm done with school, but I might breed one pair beginning of April to start back into the swing of things. I haven't decided yet.

On a random aside; I have this notion that awesome things deserve awesome names. For example race horses have the CRAZIEST!!! names. I'm sure racing greyhounds do as well. I figured since I had epicly-awesome fish, they needed just as awesome names. Sundance was my first Halfmoon. He was a Tricolour BF; red, orange and an iridescent light yellow-white. The colours of the sun: hence his name. Twilight was a Steel blue with a smokey-black mask veiltail; the colours of twilight before true night sets in. At the time, they were my two favourite bettas of out the nine that I had.

Thanks for looking!
