We have been involved the aquarium hobby for more than 25 years. Shipping fish for the last 12. We are relatively new to Aquabid but not to fish or their needs. Thank you for taking the time to look at our auctions. We do combine auctions choose your shipping type and then add $5 for each additional auction.
Live Arrival Guarantee
To qualify live arrival guarantee (LAG) the fish must be delivered by the guaranteed time provided by USPS and package must be signed for on first attempt. All my auctions have a live arrival guarantee for USPS Express shipping. (Guarantee may be added on individual Priority shipments if noted in the sale post). All orders will be packed with 3/4 Inch foam lining, double bagged and heat packs depending on your location to ensure a safe arrival. In the rare case of a DOA, I require pictures of the DOA fish clearly sent to thefishtankpeople@gmail.com with the fish in the original, untampered bag, floating in the fish tank for best clarity within 2 hours of tracking arrival. I can refund the cost of the fish or send replacement fish (If in stock). Shipping will not be refunded. Buyer is responsible for shipping cost if replacement fish is desired. If Auction says FREE SHIPPING, the value of the shipping is $30.00. If the post office is the cause of DOA (Shipment being late, box tampered with/damaged in transit, etc etc), I am NOT liable, the postal service is the cheapest, and most of the time successful, but there are those occasional cases of poor service. I will assist in dealing with the post office to try and get your money back, but I will not be refunding you. (Version 1/30/2014)
