DOA Agreement
When buying my shrimp, you enter into this agreement with me.
1. I agree to send healthy, active shrimp in fresh, clean water with plant material for them to cling to in transit. 2. I agree to pack and ship them to the best of my ability so they have the most comfortable trip possible. This includes Kordon Breathing Bag, inside an insulated box, which is then put inside another box lined with newspaper. This is to act as a buffer between the world and the shrimp. 3. You agree to pick them up as soon as they are delivered and NOT to let them sit in the sun or the cold. If you would like them sent to your work or another house, please let me know when you pay. 4. We agree that we don't have any control over how the package is handled between my house and yours, and that mishandling by postal employees can cause injury or death to some shrimp. 5. 5 extra shrimp are sent in each shipment. These shrimp are sent to replace any shrimp that may arrive DOA. If there are no DOA, then they are yours to keep for free. If an entire bag arrives dead, or there are more then 5 DOA's, you MUST send me a picture within 4 hours of delivery time in an unopened bag. This is to protect you and me from fraud. 6. We will work out refunds or replacements. 7. I am not responsible for what happens after they are in your tank. I will include an acclimation sheet with the shrimp, but it is your responsibility to research the shrimps needs and long term care.
