How we started selling the Self Cloning Crayfish
A couple years ago I walked into one of the largest pet store chains in the Americas in a town close to ours. I noticed them selling Marmorkrebs for $20.00 and $2.99 depending on whether they were blue or brown. They had them listed under names that had no affiliation with the procambarus fallax species at all. I expressed how they were misleading customers into buying a critter that came with a lot of responsibility. They said I was just trying to get something for cheap. Just to be sure I bought 3 and kept them separate for 6 months. Each one reproduced about 6 times. I called the complaint center and nothing happened. Then we built a large containment system indoors using aquaponics to manage their huge amount of waste. We started selling to many different places online and locally one of which is AquaBid with the accurate name as to not mislead anyone. We have sold about 500 so far.
