Hello, here is a little about me
I live around Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the US. I am a member of the International Betta Congress (IBC). I started spawning bettas in February 2014 (I am a newbie). The experience has been an incredible one, and not one I took lightly from the beginning. From making sure that I had my live foods setup and producing, to getting the matting pair that have good form and color. I will most likely only spawn the fish during November through April the next year, this is the only time that I have the time to spend with them. I can be reached at sherry@bettaspot.com
The First Spawning
I started with a Yellow HM Male and a Black Metallic female. The fry are everything from a dark iridescent, to cellophane with a wide variety in between. A couple traits that I have are I believe they have the red loss gene, along with butterfly. Some have marbling also, but that changes weekly.
