It's easy to get hooked on bettas - their beauty, colors, grace, ferocity, flowing movement. They are art come to life, and to breed them is to feel a power of creation of something precious and wonderful. To sell them is to share that beauty with others who appreciate that beauty and want to continue it.
A little about me....
I was helping my mother out with the family fish tanks by the time I was 4. By 6 I had my own tanks, 10gal. and started my own maintenance and picking of fish. By 9 years I was attempting breeding of bettas, and was successful (by those standards). My mother showed me the path, and I researched the rest that I needed. In the years since then, I have had many pets, but have always continued to have my fish. I started seriously breeding the fancy bettas in 2004, learning the better techniques, purchasing the better stock, and although I have had many set-backs, I continue undaunted, because this is what I love. I am good with this, and want to be able to expand and do more. I have had over 15years professional pet store experience including and aquarium maintenance business, and I like the potential for experimentation with bettas. Each spawn is a surprise, and a learning opportunity. I am learning well, so far, and I want to learn as much as I can.
