DESCRIPTION: Ich, fungus, oodinium (velvet), mouth fungus. May also be used in combination with Formaldehyde solutions. Packaged in moisture-resistant resealable zip-lock container. DIRECTIONS: 3.5 grams makes 2 cups (16 oz - 1 pint) of stock solution. Mix packet of Malachite Green crystals with two cups of distilled water and store in plastic bottle with a plastic lid. Then use 1 drop per gallon of tank/aquarium water, added three times in three day intervals (nine days total). Fine scaled or naked fishes (small tetras, catfishes, knifefishes, mormyrids....) should be administered at half dose. Do not overdose. Malachite Green treated systems should have their lights turned off. Malachite Green is easily removed with activated carbon use. CAUTIONS: For aquarium and ornamental fish only. Not for human consumption. Keep out of the reach of children. Keep in a closed container and in a cool dry location. Use latex gloves and reasonable care when mixing crystals or using Malachite Green solution as it will stain any unprotected surfaces. Warning: Do not use on eggs. Malachite green will calcify them. Malachite Green is toxic to all marine and freshwater invertebrates, algae and plant-life.
