This auction is for a young pair of Zoogoneticus tequila, AKA the Tequila Splitfin, born and raised right here in Brooklyn. This is a beautiful and endangered livebearer, originally from Mexico. The pair you'll receive is about 1 1/4 inches and just starting to color up. They grew up in the same tank as their parents and siblings. As long as there is a dense growth of floating plants fry are mostly ignored. Broods are small, ranging from 5 to 20 very large fry - they're about 5 time the size of guppy or platy babies. This is a very hardy species and adapts well to most types of water conditions, even my very soft NYC tspwater. USPS priority shipping is $20.00 with no guarantee of live arrival.
