Auction is for one nice young pair of the beautiful non-annual killifish Fundulopanchax gardneri Gold. They are about 1.5" long as of this writing, just beginning to color up. Additional pairs available.

Picture is of a male of a previous generation. Females, as usual, have very little coloration or markings. Males are very beautiful, with a bright yellow body color, plenty of colorful spots. Fry accept newly hatched brine shrimp and powdered fry food. Adults eat most fish foods appropriate for their size, but thrive on frozen and live foods. Agile jumpers' keep 'em covered.

Parameters: I don't use heaters, so tanks are in the low 70s in winter and high 70s in summer. Our water is moderately hard (140mg/l) with a pH of 7.5, and I add one tablespoon of aquarium salt per 5 gallons. I've never checked it myself, but a couple of buyers report my water arrives with a TDS of 900-1000 ppm.

Shipping: Shipping time may need to be coordinated around postal holidays and weather. Priority Mail (typically 2-4 days) is $25 per shipment, but live arrival is not guaranteed. Express Mail (1-2 days) usually starts at about $55, depending on your distance from Milwaukee, and is highly recommended. Please email a list of fish you wish to purchase and your ZIP code, and I will get you a quote.

Payment: please pay by paypal within 3 days of purchase. The email address that Aquabid provides in the winning bidder notice is my paypal address, so if you know your total, feel free to pay before contacting me. Otherwise, I usually send out an email within a day of auction end. Please let me know if you would like me to send a paypal invoice. I am often looking to clear tanks to make room for the next hatch, so prompt payment is always appreciated.

Replacement: FOR EXPRESS MAIL ONLY: In the unlikely event that fish perish during shipping, I will either replace or refund the price of the fish, provided that you let me know of the loss within two hours of the time tracking shows delivery. The most dangerous part of their trip is often the time spent sitting in the mailbox or on the porch. If you unable to be home for mail delivery, please consider having the parcel held at your local post office for you to pick up. Shipping charges are not refundable.
