Description

N. korthausae Mafia Island red is a beautiful killifish species that reaches a maximum length of about an inch and a half. Like most killifish species, they exhibit sexual dimorphism meaning the males of the species will be colorful while the females will be more subdued in coloration. They do best in planted tanks 5 gallons or larger with light surface agitation. I've found that this species is longer-lived than other Nothos; I currently have a pair just over a year old. The ones you'll be receiving have already sexed out and are showing spawning activity. Shipping is $20 for priority, and we also guarantee live arrival. In the unlikely event of a DOA (Dead on Arrival), we will need a clear digital picture within 2 hours of delivery, and we'll gladly replace the fish minus the shipping cost.
