Description

Gregman here again with another fabulous killifish auction! This is for 2 PAIR of Fundulopanchax spoorenbergi, a rare and beautiful killie from Africa. This fish is a bottom-mop spawner. The eggs should be picked and incubated on damp peat moss for 3-4 weeks. They may require force hatching, which is not a big deal. They eat anything, even flake food, although to stay in their best condition they should get lots of frozen food. They enjoy blackworms and small earthworms too. They will grow up to 3-4 inches and make a stunning display at that size! The fish in the picture is NOT the fish you will receive; rather it is probably the great-great-great grandfather of the fish in this auction. It is from the same strain, which I have kept going for over 20 years with no sign of degradation due to inbreeding. What you are bidding on are TWO PAIRS of 3 month old fish, maybe 1 - 1 1/2 inches long and fully sexable. They have another few months to go before they reach breeding size, and they are JUMPERS, so make sure the tank is well covered. I ship by Priority Mail, and the shipping cost is $9, which you pay in addition to the bid price. So bid early, bid high and stay safe!
