Description

6, unsexed, juvenile Gombe. They are about 1" and feeding on Tetramin flake, frozen brine shrimp, chopped frozen blood worms and an occasional squirt of live baby brine shrimp. The parent fish are pictured. This is a short, stocky strain of fish. The larger fish of the adult pair is less than 3". They are approx 6 years old. Coloration is stunning with iridescent blue highlights on the fins. I keep my breeding pair in a 20 gallon, with 1 rock cave. They routinely produce small batches of fry(15-20). Multiple generations will grow-up with the parent fish. I keep mine in hard Lake Erie tap water at 78 degrees. I change 50% of the water weekly. The pair bond is strong. I've kept the adult pair in mixed Tanganyikan community tanks with leleupi, comps, etc with no issues. In community tanks fry tend to get picked-off though. Shipping is $20 non-refundable on top of the winning bid. It includes an insulated box and necessary heat packs to get your fish to you in excellent condition. This auction will ship Saturday 1/25/20, so payment is due at the close of auction on Friday 1/24/20. If payment is not received as requested, I will relist the auction. Thanks for looking.

Please note that this will be my last auction on Aquabid. I've met some really nice people here, but admittedly there were a few folks that took advantage of my good nature. It's a great hobby. It's too bad there always has to be a few opportunists and their nonsense. You often hear about unsavory sellers, but it's a two-way street and I can tell you there unsavory bidders as well.
