Description

I have 3 diamond piranhas available. AUCTION IS FOR 1 FISH ONLY. Eating live fish and tilapia daily. Air cargo shipping ONLY which runs around $65.00 and will NOT be shipped into any state where piranhas are illegal to own. Any questions just ask: eastcoastzoo@hotmail.com. IMPORTANT�PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We ONLY ship via air cargo on Southwest, Delta, and United airlines. I will not do any door to door or USPS shipments under any circumstances. Air cargo shipments are very easy. I give you an airway bill-AWB- that is a tracking number for the airline being used, along with the time of arrival (pending any changes by the airline because of weather, etc). You go to the airline cargo area an hour after the plane lands, give them the number and ID, and take home your fish. Fish are handled quickly, kept warm, and are covered under airline insurance if they cause damage to the shipment. Courier services like FedEx and UPS do not do this. Also, if you are local within 100 miles there is no airline shipping for short distances. These orders are PICK UP ONLY at the warehouse. I allow pick-ups ONLY on Sunday by appointment when I am working on my imports. Ask all questions before bidding. Live arrival guaranteed on all fish until 3 hours after being available at the airport cargo facility. This is usually about 1-2 hours after the plane lands. I need to be contacted immediately in case of a problem and photos of the fish in the sealed bag with time documentation and the fish outside the bag in case of DOA. Airlines also document the time the shipment was picked up. Once the original bands have been removed and the bag is open there is NO GUARRANTEE of any type on any fish. I have no control over how the fish is treated after that. There are also no guarantees on sex, its temperament, how it will get along with tank mates, or if the fish will eat or not. All fish are eating and in perfect condition when picked and packed. What happens when they arrive is out of my control, but I will always be available to advise what conditions fish need or figure out what is happening before and after the auction. Sizes can run a little larger or smaller depending on what is picked for shipping. Any sizes given in auction are approximate and very close. Under no terms are shipping charges guaranteed or refundable under any circumstance. If box is damaged or frozen by airline mishandling a claim must be filed with the airline. I am not responsible for airline mishandling. This is a very rare occurrence, but it can happen. Airlines will consider and pay claims when they make a mistake�couriers and USPS do not. My fish are packed professionally and they are fine for at least 2 days in transit and more with no ill effects. I supply wholesalers, large pet shops, zoos, and even other re-sellers on this site nation-wide and have been in this business over 35 years, so if it not a fish I would want to receive myself, it will not be shipped. I am the direct importer of all my fish. Under no circumstances will ANY PIRANHA OR SOUTH AMERICAN STINGRAY be shipped into a state where they are restricted and illegal to own. Do not waste my time or yours in this regard. Any auction won by someone in a restricted state will be voided and any payments will be immediately refunded and you will be blocked from bidding on any of my auctions. Any questions-just ask in advance, but 99% of anyone who is buying these fish knows full well that they are legal or illegal in their state from the start.
