Description

Up for auction, possibly for the first time on Aquabid, are six 1.4" to 1.5" Crenuchus spilurus, AKA sailfin tetras, born & raised right here in Brooklyn. Pictured is their father. Despite their vicious appearance, this species is shy & peaceful; they behave & breed very much like Badis badis. Unlike badis, however, they'll eat anything, including flakes & pellets. They bred for me in a heavily planted tank furnished with driftwood, leaf litter & caves. Some floating plants to cut down on the light will be appreciated. The fish you'll receive are healthy, eating like pigs & are growing rapidly. These 6 are the only ones available at this time; once they're gone, they're gone!
